Friday sessions were removed to allow players proper recovery and to improve weekend attendance, a move that reflected the club’s focus on long-term player welfare and performance.

December also marked one of the club’s most memorable events, the Delhi Hurricanes Christmas Touch Tournament. Designed to bring together players and non-players alike, the tournament mixed men and women, experienced athletes and newcomers, all on the Hurricanes’ home ground.

The event drew more than 100 participants, a remarkable turnout that highlighted the club’s growing reach. The Tuna Tasters dominated the competition, winning all their matches to claim the tournament title. The Titans were awarded the Spirit of the Game prize, while Pulkit and Kanika received recognition for the best costumes, adding a festive charm to the day.

The celebrations did not stop there. A competitive XVs match followed, featuring two Hurricanes teams, Red and Black. After a hard-fought game, both sides finished level at 15 points apiece, a fitting result to cap off the sporting action.
